The Veil

The Veil was written and designed by Julie Chen as a heartfelt response to the post 9/11 confusion and anxiety in the world today. Combining the political and the personal, The Veil raises questions and offers observations about the hope and fears about the future that many of us share. When opened for display, The Veil reveals layers of letterpress printed and intricately lasercut pages in a carousel format that can be displayed as a standing sculpture. Produced in an edition of 100 copies and enclosed in a box with beautiful lasercut details and magnetic closure. Book is 4.25" by 10.5" when closed. Box size is 8.5" by 13" by 1".
